PRERNA – THE EMANCIPATION is a national-level social event recognised by the Government of India. PRERNA was initiated in the year 2006, by a group of students from the Faculty of Technology and Engineering, MSU Baroda, with the sole purpose of drawing inspiration from the Differently-Abled and to provide them a platform to showcase their talent. Completing 19 delightful years of its journey, today Prerna is Asia’s Largest Differently-Abled Fest and has received patronage from UNESCO, SIX times. PRERNA has also been recognised by the Indian Paralympic Committee, the Government of Gujarat, and Honorable Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi, as well as THESPA, Ahmedabad’s association for physically challenged people.
