WELCOME TO THE ASIA'S LARGEST DIFFERENTLY ABLED FEST
Considering the current Covid-19 pandemic guidelines and for everyone's safety, PRERNA - The Emancipation is bringing its 16th venture on an online platform this year with the same energy and passion to provide a platform for differently abled where they can showcase their calibre, inspire many people, and spread happiness.
PRERNA laid its foundation in 2006 to empathise the differently abled and since then, we have been progressing in every dimension.
PRERNA'19 received UNESCO patronage for the fourth time in a row, as well as letters of appreciation from the honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, and former Gujarat Chief Minister, Shri Vijay Rupani. We organised more than 30 events for differently abled people and 8 visitor events, with over 7000 participants and an estimated 11000 visitors.
Last year, due to Covid-19 pandemic, PRERNA’20 was successfully conducted online where more than 32 differently abled events were organised and we got an incredible response from our DA community. The Alfaaz segment of PRERNA’20 was an motivational talk show which was live streamed on our youtube channel with 1700+ viewers.
PRERNA also works for the betterment of their lifestyle under the project 'DA WELFARE' by providing equipment to sustain their livelihood and also for their upliftment. PRERNA conducts a donation drive known as “AAGHAZ” every year for the underprivileged section of the society by donating clothes, books, and other essential items.
